BRANDING
'Peep' is a sunglasses brand that promotes self-steem and uniqueness through a wide variety of unconventional styles and frames. Its tagline “lenses your way” seeks to evoke a sense of expression and highlight its promise of personalization. They want to be a strong and bold brand that inspires dares their customers to try different styles and feel sexy.
the
concept
For this brand I wanted to make color the protagonist. The idea is born from wanting to play with colors and our perception of them; specifically with how glasses affect the nuances we see around us, depending on their own. After trying different lenses, red was chosen. It is surrounded by strong and lively symbolisms, full of passion, perfect for the brand, which is why the chosen one is so vibrant.
Depending on the color on which it is superimposed and its transparency, red creates a very peculiar gray and black effect, which provides great contrast and fills the photo with impact and strength. (In some cases it even completely changes the hue to another outside the gray-black spectrum)
The logotype
The logo takes its base structure from the circle, as symbolism to the figure of the sun. Despite being made up of these kind and soft figures, the extra bold style and the character endings in square corners give it strength and firmness.
